Maersk announces formation of an air cargo company

On April 8, Maersk issued an announcement on its official website, announcing the establishment of an air cargo company, Maersk Air Cargo, as its main air cargo business, to meet the logistics needs of customers through integrated logistics.

The company, which owns the world's largest container shipping company, said its new Maersk Air Cargo business will be operational in the second half of the year, while Maersk has selected Billund Airport, Denmark's second largest airport, as the air cargo hub for Maersk Air Cargo, which operates daily Both flights create multiple jobs in the region.
